The Vision:

The Vision:

When I was 19 years old God began speaking to me these words "Maison's Makeup and Ministries." When He would speak these words to me I would envision a Christian makeup company that shares the Gospel through packaging on cosmetic products, I would envision this makeup line being sold through Sephora or Ulta and using the proceeds to help women in need (which is still a part of my plan/dream)

Through prayer and fasting God poured out revelation, visions, and strategy to me. I saw a future for broken women, I saw abused women being transformed by having their makeup done. I saw myself planting seeds in women just by doing their makeup for free. I saw my purpose. I began to realize God wasn't just speaking to me about a cosmetic company He wanted me to build. He wanted me to build my own ministry and use the proceeds from this makeup company to help women in need, and use the income from this Christian makeup company to help women get housing, jobs, education, etc.

As God began to download this vision for a makeup ministry to me, He started asking me: what happens to women that are poverty stricken, abused, living in a homeless shelter and trying to better their lives? What happens if these women have a job interview but no money to purchase makeup or clothes, or don't know how to do their makeup and look presentable, and don't feel confident? How could me doing women's makeup at no cost benefit their lives, or even lead them to Christ, plant seeds in them, or make them feel more beautiful, worthy, confident, and loved.

How could using the gifts God gave to me, to serve God, and do makeup for free for a wedding, event, job interview, etc help a woman in need, or maybe just in need of being blessed with an act of service? How could me doing a woman's makeup for free sow a seed in her that one day grows to be larger than the garden plants (Matthew 13:32).

My vision is that any woman regardless of her religion, status, affiliation, can have her makeup done for free and maybe she is broken, lost, hurting, grieving, mourning like Isaiah 61:3 says, but in that hour or two of having her makeup done for free, God takes those ashes, and bestows on her a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

Isaiah 61:3

"and provide for those who grieve in Zion—

to bestow on them a crown of beauty

    instead of ashes,

the oil of joy

    instead of mourning,

and a garment of praise

instead of a spirit of despair.

They will be called oaks of righteousness,

    a planting of the Lord

for the display of his splendor."
